Terms of Service

The service is provided by Maus, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us"). Our details are on the contact page.

By subscribing to or using the service you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, to subscribe.

Maus Pro gives you a personal cloud machine that stays on, so your bots can keep working while your own computer is off. You manage it from the Maus app and your Cloud account.

The price and what is available today are shown in Cloud before you subscribe. Features marked planned are not part of what you pay for until they launch.

Pro does not include AI usage. The subscription pays for the cloud machine and the service around it, not for any AI model.

A subscription is for one person. Do not share your account, your sign-in or your cloud machine, and do not resell access. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in codes to yourself.

To use AI models on Pro, you connect your own AI provider account, such as a Claude or ChatGPT subscription or an API key, on your cloud machine.

Your use of that account is between you and the provider: its terms, plan limits and charges apply, and it is up to you to make sure your use through Maus is allowed by them. We are not responsible for a provider's outages, limits, price changes or decisions about your account.

We never receive, store or resell your AI provider credentials.

Claude Code and other vendor tools run unmodified on your cloud machine. You sign in to them through the vendor's own sign-in flow, not through us.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase and handles billing, invoices and applicable taxes. Dodo Payments' own terms also apply to the payment.

Pro is billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, and renews each month until you cancel. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.

You can cancel at any time in Cloud. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and then does not renew. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

If the price changes, we will email you before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you wish.

Do not use the service for any of the following:

• Sharing your account or sign-in with anyone else, or reselling access.
• Scanning, probing or attacking other systems or networks from the cloud machine.
• Sending spam or other unsolicited bulk messages.
• Mining cryptocurrency, or other work whose main purpose is to burn compute.
• Anything illegal, including hosting or sending malware or infringing other people's rights.
• Getting around usage limits or security controls, or trying to reach other customers' machines or data.
• Overloading the cloud machine or our systems in a way that harms the service for others.

You are responsible for what your bots do on your behalf, including what they do on the cloud machine.

What you and your bots create on the cloud machine is yours. We access it only to run, secure and support the service, when you ask us to, or when the law requires it. The privacy policy explains what we store.

We do not promise backups during the founding period. Keep your own copy of anything important.

Pro is new. Until we update this section, there is no uptime guarantee or service level agreement. The service may be interrupted, changed or limited while we build it. We will try to give notice of planned maintenance and of changes that matter to you.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if a payment fails and is not fixed, or when we need to in order to protect the service or other people, or to comply with the law. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

If we stop offering Pro for reasons that are not about you, we will refund any time you have paid for and not used.

When your subscription ends, your cloud machine and the data on it may be deleted. Download anything you want to keep before then.

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have under consumer law to bring a claim where you live.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies to you.
